The other evening the daughter & hubby came over for dinner. The after dinner chat evolved into her speculation of the local team's possible appearance in the Super Bowl. "1st time ever." Being reminded that the team had been to the SB four previous times, she said,"Well that was before I was born. Anything that happened before I was born is not important." Her level of sarcasm was off the meter.
That got me wondering if that was the thought process of her generation. We certainly have enough people on the planet who already ignore the past.

to repeat it. "
Look at the politicos. Is it arrogance that makes them believe it will be different on their watch? Are they short sighted, or is it they just don't care.
Republicans - the party of corrupt obstructionists
Democrats - the party of spineless incompetents.
Pay attention morons. Afghanistan, climate change, health care, energy, corporate America. Changes need to be made. Get it right, or as a species we will be history.
