So Apple has voided warranties on their Macs due to "health risks of second hand smoke"
It appears the computer was contaminated with cigarette smoke which Apple considers a bio-hazard. Forget that the warranty makes no specific mention of cigarette smoke voiding said warranty.
Taking it a bit further, I say that the warranties should also be voided due to exposure to methane gas. Methane gas is a greenhouse gas which contributes to the warming of the atmosphere. Although not toxic, it is an asphyxiant, flammable & explosive.
Have you ever been in an elevator or some other enclosed space when methane gas is released. Talk about a bio-hazard. SBD.
Pity Le Pétomane. If he, as a professional flatulist & subject of an award winning musical were alive today, he would not be the vaunted entertainer that he was, but rather the bane of the high tech world.
As the world spirals into the unique brand of insanity known as mankind, I hope that my level of bemusement can keep up.

Historicaly Hilarious

The other evening the daughter & hubby came over for dinner. The after dinner chat evolved into her speculation of the local team's possible appearance in the Super Bowl. "1st time ever." Being reminded that the team had been to the SB four previous times, she said,"Well that was before I was born. Anything that happened before I was born is not important." Her level of sarcasm was off the meter.
That got me wondering if that was the thought process of her generation. We certainly have enough people on the planet who already ignore the past.

Look at the politicos. Is it arrogance that makes them believe it will be different on their watch? Are they short sighted, or is it they just don't care.
